The Challenge
The client required deeper visibility into AWS Lambda workloads by correlating ingress events, SDK interactions, and downstream AWS services while protecting sensitive information and avoiding changes to existing Lambda applications.
Our Approach
Our team customized OpenTelemetry Collector, OpenTelemetry Lambda instrumentation, and supporting libraries to capture ingress and egress data, correlate Lambda events with AWS SDK calls, implement custom exporters for metadata-only telemetry, inject security context for penetration testing, and deploy Lambda layers for event monitoring and webhook support.
